Dennis, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, brings decades of experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, clinical leadership, and community collaboration. Most recently, he served as Director of the Behavior Response Team at Putnam Hospital Center, where he led a multidisciplinary countywide crisis team, provided training to service providers throughout Putnam County, and helped coordinate resources for individuals and families facing challenging situations. Throughout his career, Dennis has also held leadership and clinical positions with the New York State Office of Mental Health, including roles at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility and Rockland Psychiatric Center.

Working collaboratively with school staff, he will help identify and address student concerns, provide proactive support when challenges arise, and deliver prevention education on topics such as bullying prevention, conflict resolution, healthy peer relationships, and positive decision-making.

Dennis is also a familiar face to the Prevention Council, having previously served as a member of our Board of Directors. His longstanding commitment to the well-being of Putnam County residents, combined with his extensive professional experience, makes him a valuable addition to our team.

Please join us in welcoming Dennis to the Prevention Council of Putnam. We are excited about the positive impact he will have on the students, families, and school communities we serve.
