The increasing presence of Xylazine, Fentanyl and Novel Potent Opioids in the illicit drug supply requires education and strategies to help reduce negative outcomes.
The training is intended for a diverse audience of consumers, community members and professionals. The course will introduce the concept of harm reduction, frame the current issues with drug adulterants, and offer evidence-based and promising practice strategies to reduce negative outcomes of adulterants.
Resource table with Naloxone, drug testing kits, Deterra bags, and other prevention and harm reduction materials will be available.
